I really want to get a West Michigan Club in the works. If we could get some people together to make this happen that would be really cool. If anyone is interested please post so we can try to get the ball rolling. Also post any ideas or venues where we could practice and hold meetings.

Sounds interesting! We used to practice on the dock in Muskegon Lake but our up and coming (I hope) border collie, Blurr, tries to swim across the lake so he gets all his practices at UAD. Brian had to fish him out of the pool twice; now he looks at Brian and swims right to the ramp and comes out.

There is a really nice dog park down here in Kalamazoo that is supposed to have a regulation dock built by spring. If there is a true interest in a club and holding practices at this park, I will contact the park owner and see if we could work something out for dock jumping members.

Please PM on here or send me an email and let me know what your name and email address is and I will send it to you. We are hoping to have an informal meeting on Saturday of the Grand Rapdis event - after the last Splashes are finished. Now that the snow is starting to melt we are all getting excited about getting the fur kids on the dock again! wave
