I know this is a DOG site but I also know that some of you UAD-ers have horses as well so thought this might be good to post here as well. I got this email on one of my DOG email groups today ...

"52 thoroughbred horses need homes. Will go to Sugarcreek this Saturday for slaughter. Gentleman died and his son wants nothing to do with them. Most broodmares are broke and some are in foal weanling, yearlings, 2 yrs and 3 yrs old most are gelded. FREE and papered.
Friend of the deceased is trying to find homes 440-463-4288 or 440-463-4288 Barnesville, OH. Please forward PLEASE HELP OUT"

This was on facebook this morning. All the horses have found homes mostly with friends of the family. They're asking people not to call and to pass on the message that the horses are OK.
