dock jumping demos

Nicky and some of his friends will be doing dock jumping demos at an event called Dog Dayz for the benefit of the New England Border Collie Rescue. There is more info on their website which is nebcr.org. For basics, the event is located on Sugarbush Farm, which is a working farm located in Stephentown, NY (upstate/eastern ny, near Massachusetts border). The countryside there is absolutely beautiful. Admission to the event is $10 for adults, $2 under 16 , and free for kids under 5, which includes your lunch, dogs are welcome. It is a little less if you sign up in advance. There will be agility run thrus all day for $3 per run (some prior training required). There are usually flyball, frisbee and herding demos, lots of vendors, great raffles. Also, CGC and thereapy dog testing (sign up in advance). There are usually a few speakers. Of course, there will be dock jumping demos into the pond, and anybody who wants to try it with their dog is welcome - no jump fees. It is not a regulation dock and they can't control the water level, but it is a fun event - hope to see some of you and your dogs there. (That's where Nicky got started.)
