One thing to remember is that you don't want to get *too* far out in front. Basically, stay just out of their reach. It's sort of similar to the "toy thrown too far in the pool" thing (for new dogs, especially). A lot of dogs sometimes get discouraged when their handler runs off so easily way out ahead. If you stay closer, the support they get from you is that much more, along with the "goal" seeming more attainable. Again, just like throwing the toy too far for new dogs and making it seem way harder to get to.
Just one quick suggestion... you might want to add a little bit more line length so that the downward angle from harness to sled isn't quite as much. It looks to be about 4ft currently? I'd suggest at least 5ft, maybe even 6ft.
Good job, Moose! How much weight is on the sled? Was this his first time getting to try pulling?
