Right up until the thunderstorm came in and it got windy, rainy and a little hail. The last splash and the round of Catch-it were cancelled when the weather service announced a warning of a bad thunderstorm coming our way with 70 MPH wind. We packed up and headed home, but I think some people stayed to wait out the storm I think. We will pick up where we left off tomorrow at 10AM. I got a lot of the dogs in the first splash in frame against the Ren-Cen. It was really nice out for the first splash though.

I fixed the first link but yeah, it's really just the same as the second link. I have some more to post when I get them downloaded from the camera. I got some really nice ones this morning during practice with the Ren-Cen in the background. The lighting in the afternoon was a little flat for me so I don't know how many will come out good. We'll see.

Alisa,
I even have some of Leo actually swimming (he seems to be swimming for his life). He isn't excited about the water, but isn't too terrified either. We will just take it slow with him and see where it leads. If he's not a water dog oh well, we'll just find something else for him to do that he does like - other than napping.

It was a great event. The crowds were big and the jumping was HUGE. There was a ton of press coverage, I even got interviewed for a radio spot. Ryan (Silver Surfer) said he heard me and I didn't sound too bad... Other than the storm late yesterday it was a really great event.

The woman is Taryn Asher, she came from a local station near where I grew up. She's a really nice person, but was a bit out of her element wearing white pants and playing with dogs... I don't think anyone told her what she would be doing before she got there.
