I know this is going to be a packed busy event and I plan on jumping but I also am considering Showing in Conformation. We will be able to work around that a bit? Luckily I have a wash and wear dog so From water to ring is only a Towel away. But if there is a conflict with my rotation in the splash is that something we can work around? Move to a different heat?

It shouldn't be a big problem. I believe Kel is doing conformation, weight pull?, dock jumping, and I think something else as well with her German Sheperds. If she can juggle that, I'm sure you can juggle one dog with jumping and conformation.

Last year Fernando did WP and DJ and Conformation, and I know he plans on doing all three again this year. Once UKC sends out the Show schedule you can plan what Splashes you will be able to do, or know what 'group' you can ask to get put in....
You must pre-register for the conformation and the deadline is on the 16th I think - just FYI Ultimate Air Elation

Thanks Lynn I did. I am actually trying to email a few of the top ten kennels in my breed to see if they are comming. Most are California and texas dogs....So unless I have other V's I know are comming I might skip conformation. I am down to needing competition wins and Not sure I will do well against the popular sporting breeds in group that are all top ten dogs in the nation. Like Goldens, labs, Poodles, Irish setter ect. V's just dont normally do well against those breeds. So I am waiting tell last minute. But thanks for the heads up

We are entered in weight pull with Molly and Rogan - they will jump also

And anxiously awaiting the opening of the UAD June events - any day now???

Has anyone looked at how quick the other events are filling up at Premier? When I last looked there was almost a full page of events that weren't going to accept anymore dogs. So I am going to have to watch for Premier to open so it doesn't close within a few hours with out me knowing about it.

I am willing to bet this event could set a new record for participants, can we say 30 dogs a group and maybe 200 dogs a splash?
I also think this event may end up being bigger than Cherry Festival which is always huge!!!

Yea - registrations for other events have been open for months. Weight pulling closed early April!!!!!

Well I am looking forward to the premier....and the rumor about camping being filled up is just that a rumor. They have just opened the camping not to long ago I will be camping thur, fri, sat I need to figure out what days I am taking off work. If i dont take sunday off I will be leaving saturday night

Yup, Jeff is correct... Aro is doing dockjumping (UV and distance),
agility, and obedience. Jack Tar is doing dockjumping (distance
and possibly UV) and agility. Baako is doing dockjumping
(distance and possibly UV), agility, and conformation. I was
considering doing wpull as well... but figured we have enough
ring-hopping to do already as it is. Just kidding!
