For some reason all the pics ( over 500) I took of almost every splash had the dogs blurred hit head hit head . Never had that problem before with this digital huh? huh?

I took a bunch too and just got them back (yes film because my new digital SLR didn't get here in time for GR). Mine came out pretty good, but a lot were still blurred. Much better than the last time I took pics at an event with my film SLR. At novi I took about 50 pics and 5, yes 5 came out. I will post them in the event picture thread later tonight.

Ah yes, the joy of indoor events. That's why we didn't even bother bringing our camera. We just did took some video of our kids as well as a few other random ones.

I used to do sports photography at a couple of different small publication newspapers. I also have set up a few businesses involving digital photos. If you are interested in getting good indoor photos I would look into a white lightining. Bounce it off the roof of the event center so you arent effecting the dogs or crowd. That combined with a good flash meter would be all you needed. However a pool the size of lake ultimate might need to whit lighnings. I know there are a few people there that take photos It might be a good investment along with a few remote slaves the cycle time on those are amazing more than one person could use the same flash. Just a thought

I just added 6 more photos from the little demo they replaced CI with. There are a couple of sky in there.

I will look through the ones I didn't pick as well. I think I took like 400 and only put 100 up.

I was at the base of the lumberjack pole. There was a catwalk on the west side of the pool but that photo wouldn't have been as impressive so I didn't even try getting up there. If there would have been one against the east wall, you know I would have been bugging someone to let me up there. Sweet!
