Thanks Jeff for pointing out that I screwed my dog in Catch It Ultimate Air Elation and documenting it photo but you fogot to mention that I messed up BOTH throws!!! :bigcry:
Actually the pic is deceptive because of the angle. Poor Rogan didn't have a chance to catch the Loopie.

We did 2 days of demos and caught all of them.

It was a classic case of handler choking exactly

LOL no, that definitly was NOT planned. I'd like to see someon teach their dog to do that though.

That was during Catch It and we think he may have slipped a little and while flying thru the air was following the bumper which resulted in him flipping onto his back as he landed. I saw Gauge do this a couple years back as well. I know there are photos of that one flying around somewhere too.

Yah I took the pic. Cherry Fest 2 years ago. Actually I think he was trying to catch the bumper and was pulling his head back to get the bumper, and just went over, pretty much what Gage did!!

A few dogs have backflipped in the past... it seems to mostly happen during CI and UV, either during slips or after a bad throw. It's not a safe situation at all, so luckily no dogs have been injured after having it happen.

There are a few dogs out there who can do on-land total backflips and land them (mostly BCs) squarely... but that's totally different (the dockjumpers who have done this have all landed on their backs, not upright again). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=72eBqonkOZk and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pL5LjE3toc8&feature=related

Here's photos of all of our "kids". They were all jumping great. We had 3 of the 4 in Catch It! and Rajah finished in 2nd, Phoenix in 3rd, and Tundra in 5th by only one inch to the 4th place winner.

I think I got the majority of the dogs at this event including some of the finals (novice thru senior). We were jumping in Masters and Ultimate so I didn't get any from those finals.
