I'm still alive, life update and hello

Hi to all my UAD jumpin buddies. Ryder and I sure do miss ya. We have been busy this summer, lots going on, here are some of the highlights: had the motorcycle trip in may to Natural Bridge in Ky CRASH FREE!, went to New York City with some girlfriends and got majorly rained on but it was pretty cool there - first trip to NY, went to friends cabin in Paw Paw always a treat and back there again this weekend for some wakeboarding - unfortunately they are not dog people - last time we were there we took the dirtbikes and I fell almost right on my face in a foot or more of stagnant swamp water!! I was so muddy and disgusting. It was funny. OK that was just May. June, lets see....I got a really cool, punky haircut that had bright red highlights that have since been replaced with crazy magenta, went to this fancy pants Red Bull Air race party on top of a parking structure right on the river - $50 ticket included fab food and free booze and desserts - it was an awesome day except when they dragged me to a strip joint in Hamtramck yuck!, Saw y'all at River Days, that was fun. Had big fireworks at my house on the 28th, the city fireworks are at the end of my street. Of course, my birthday! We went out to a really cool Italian restaurant in Detroit. Really good food and strong drinks. My friends had a birthday party for me at their house in Lake Orion on the 4th of July then there were fireworks. Saw some movies: Transformers, The Hangover and Star Trek, thought they were good. Came home one day and had NO POWER! That sucked. I thought my food would thaw so I got ice and loaded up the coolers. In the mean time Ryder at a bunch of vitamines, I couldnt find a flash light and I was starving! I had a really bad evening. IT WAS A FRIDAY ON TOP OF IT!! Power came back on at 12:30pm and Ryder lived. My grandmother in Vegas has dementia. She was a mess to begin with but now....ugh. Getting old sucks. Rode the motorcycle a bit. The big news: Brian and I are going on a camping trip OUT WEST in august. I am excited! We are going to Mt. Rushmore, Devils Tower, Yosemite and the Grand Tetons. I really want to bring Ryder but dogs are not allowed on the trails and we want to go hiking, white water rafting, mountain biking, dirt biking and all that stuff and he could not go. If anyone has any thoughts about that situation, please share. Hope you are all having a great summer and I look forward to seeing you all soon. take care.
