Help dog who was burned alive

Many of you may have seen the Fox 2 report on "Bonnie" the 6 week
old puppy that was burnt and left for dead in Redford Township (see
news link below). Bonnie has been receiving medical care since being
found a week ago. Her first surgery, this coming Monday, will be to
remove her burnt ear flap. At that time is will be determined if the
damage inside her ear canal warrants that also being removed. If so,
she will be in for even more expensive operations and care.
"Bonnie" was rescued and is being cared for by a wonderful family
with 3 children. I know these bills are creating a struggle for them
and am hoping there are some caring people on here willing to help out.

update...They believe the perp may have used a blowtorch in the dogs ear

That's awful... But I'm very glad to hear that the family of the boy who found her will be keeping her. It seems she has a very caring family now.

i just dont get some people and how they can do things like that. hopfully this will end up with a happy ending with who ever did it ending up in jail and the pup seems to have a loving home now

Whoever did this cruel act to a poor defenseless dog doesn't deserve to walk the face of the earth. I hope the payback is soon for this SOB.

My sentiments exactly!! Fry'em. It makes me SICK to think about how the dog suffered and will continue to. Should do the same thing to who did it.

Just wanted to let everyone know that "Boonie" had her first surgery on Monday to remove her ear flap. Everything went fine and she is now at home recovering. Thank you to all who donated it has been a great relief to the family.
