I have been looking, and there is a Red Roof in Naperville about 15 miles away. Anyone know of a dog friendly hotel closer?

Ha ha Matt!!!

I really don't think that you will find much closer than that Red Roof that is dog friendly. You could try in Lombard (on 22nd st) or in Glen Ellyn - those are both towns that are right there.

I just did some quick searching on hotels in the area (sorry but I've never had to look for a hotel near me!!!) and here is what I found/would suggest in the area:

Candlewood Suites
27W300 Warrenville Rd
Warrenville, IL 60555
*has a pet fee
*1.5 miles from fairgrounds

America's Best Value Inn (I am not 100% sure on this one and would like to drive by it)
675 W. Roosevelt Rd
Glen Ellyn, IL 60137
*no pet fee
*1 mile from fairgrounds

Best Western
1617 Naperville Rd
Naperville, IL 60563
*pet fee
*4.6 miles from fairgrounds

Red Roof Inn
1698 W. Diehl Rd.
Naperville, IL 60563
*no pet fee
*5.8 miles from fairgrounds

The Red Roof is actually in a pretty good location - it is right next to the expressway so that makes it a little easier.

Red Roof sounds good to me, and it closert than I was told by the clerk. They have been remodeled, so the rooms should be nice, and I am working on my next free night with them. :-)

The biggest probelm is whether the dogs will let us take their spaces on the floor!!
