Ok well this has been a strange day for us here in Ohio went to work and no water so we got to go home! so i have started packing for novi event and wondered if there is a specific area we need to enter by. I have a giant bag of toys and towels and crate just wanted to know it there is a drop off area that is close or should i bring a crate dolly?

Oh and we didn't have water on campus a few months back....but they made us go to class anyway. badmood hahaha

Well I work at the Family deli/Resturant so no water no food...my first snow day in 13 years!!!! cant wait for novi lance is so excited about getting wet he is driving me nuts and we have been running on treadmill and working on his agility stuff almost daily thank god for the training center in the winter.

You unload all of your equipment in the back of the building. The doors are maybe 50-70 feet from the crating area. At least that is how it was last year. Remember lots of towels and a small heater if you have one. It looks like it is going to be cold again in time for the event. By cold I mean under 30 degrees.

Just look for the door at the back where everyone is going in and out. There is usually only one door at Novi for vendor entrance. It will have a "dude" outside it directing traffic and likely a person inside checking for wrist bands/stamps. Tell them you are with UAD and they will let you know if you have to pay for entrance or not. Sometimes yes, sometimes no depending on the person and what kind of deal Milt worked out for us. The last Novi event was 1 dog 1 person in for free. They also had a list to check for registered teams. So even though I had Leo I still had to pay because we weren't on the list of cool kids.

Haha okay yep sounds good. I just didn't want to come in the wrong door and end up dragging the mutts across the entire showplace. (which HAS happened to me before....back when I was a kid HA!....we came up the elevator from the parking ramp and had to walk through the entire building with two dogs and a crate Embarassed rofl ) But thanks for the heads up! I'll be on the look out for the "dude" tomorrow! Hope everyone has a safe drive and huge jumps!

Last year the pool was against the back wall sorta in the middle. I would expect it to be there again. The door should be the one in the middle at the back of the building.Probably the same one we went in for the last Novi event.

Crating area is in the same place as last year. There is very little room for crates. Parking spots were also sparse.Also this is the regular pool and dock not lake ultimate.
Three dogs over 23.Four dogs over 22. I think.

Safe travels today everyone. We had freezing rain about an hour ago and then some snow. It has stopped for now. I'm a bit northeast of Novi, however, just be prepared. Roads could be great or not due to the 33 degree temp. I'll try to post in a couple of hours what the weather is doing.
