Brian - I love the one of Brooks going for the toy - he does totally look like he wants nothing more than to kill it!!

Shari - I love the pics of my little guy - they make him look so sweet Sweet!

I also really like the picture of Kristy & Jim on the dock and looking so relaxed and laughing - that is what UAD is all about!!!

I think there may be a few more that I will be posting after I review them all one more time, but for the most part, the ones posted are the best I believe.

Lighting as Jason mentioned was a real problem even shooting at 3200 ISO and with a F1.8 lens. We were able to get some really nice shots that all need to be cropped down to bring the action closer to the eye so to speak.

One more pass and maybe a few more to be posted and we will done for this event.

I was using the 2.8 lens and could only go as high as 1600 ISO so I had to do a bit of post processing on my pics. I gave Shari my 1.8 lens and she got some good pics. I'm looking forward to Novi since there is better lighting there.

Jason, maybe you and my dad need to invest in these lenses. Just for indoors of course. Laugin' out loud! Of course there is the problem of affording them, only 1400 dollars for a 50mm lens. Golly Gee!

Yeah, they are a bit steep. However, I'm sure your dad wouldn't mind getting it for birthday, Christmas, or just because you love him... Ultimate Air Elation I am thinking of renting the 85mm version of that lens for Novi to try it out. I had rented a 100mm F2 lens at the last novi event and it worked great. For a fraction of the cost of buying it I can rent it for 7 days. That's what I did with the lens I was using at Birch Run as well. This way I know what lens/es I want to ask for at Christmas.

Oh geez, you guys are making my head spin with all of these settings, lol. I have to go to Jason, he sets my camera, I just point and shoot it. Maybe I will take a class one of these days since I'm such a hands on learner.

Thank you Jason for letting me use your lens. It made a HUGE difference in the lighting. I had a lot more blurry pics, but at least the were light enough to see.

Shari, I thought the pictures you posted were really nice. You will notice in ours as well that there is significant background blur which I kind of like because it draws your eye to the center of focus, that being the dog.

I play with settings on my camera all the time so I would suggest trying it for yourself when you are not jumping with Meadow and Sage just for the experience (hands on learning).

Either that or put the camera on P and try shooting there.
