Well Sage is having surgery tomorrow. She was born with a herniated umbilical which is going to be repaired. She is also having a broken front tooth removed, getting microchipped and spayed. I know it's all supposed to be routine, but I'm going to be a wreck while she's there. I hate waiting for the call that she's okay. Please keep my girl in your thoughts tomorrow. :heart:

Steph, I am terrible too. When M was spayed I must have called two or three times too. Golly Gee!

I will definitely keep Miss Sage in my thoughts tomorrow (and you). I do know how it is. When Maxine had her first knee surgery I did NOT get a call until the following afternoon to say I could come and bring her home. I called several times and never spoke to anyone but a receptionist, it was her first day EVER away from home, I was a wreck!!! She was fine, but the point was they didn't call. No way, Man!

Sage be a good patient, and don't worry your mother being overly goofy when you get home!

I'm logged in under my Mom since I'm at her house.

I just spoke with Dr. Malberg and he said that Sage is just starting to wake up. They only pulled her front tooth that was bad, the extra tooth was left in place. He removed the fat tissue and repaired her hernia and did the spay.

I can't go pick her up until 3, however I am so happy that she's starting to wake up.

Big hugs to each of you for all of the good thoughts. hearts You all know that the girls are like my kids and I think most of us on this board feel that way. I'll post later after she's home.

Sage is home and attempting to rest. I put her bed in my bedroom and when I left the room she managed to get up on my bed. I covered her with a blanket and hopefully she can rest. She has two incisions, one from the spay and one from the umbilical repair. Her mouth seems to be watering a bit, I'm sure it's from the tooth extraction.

Thanks again everyone!! I was a mess today and I'm so glad my girl is home. Now let's see if I can keep her calm for 10 days, that will definitely be a challenge. I'm also realizing how hard it is to keep the house semi quiet with big mouth Meadow, lol.

BTW Matt, Sage smiled when I picked her up today Sweet! The vet tech thought it was funny. She said Sage was an excellent patient and she wished they were all so easy.

Sage is now at home.The last time I talked to Shari she had stepped up on the ottoman and got on the bed, so Shari covered her up and she was sleeping, but I bet come feeding time she will be wide awake seeing as she did not have any breakfast this morning. As for hugs and kisses I am very sure she got many before she left the vets office.
