Well it is the dining area so I wanted it to "look" nicer because it can be seen by the rest of the house and you have to walk though it to get to the bedrooms.

Re: Our dog room...lots of pics
Your room looks very nice. My dogs don't have a room...they have the whole dang house. That may be why it looks the way it does (a mess)
My dogs have beds in our bedroom, two on one side of our bed, one on the other, but usually there is a dog, or two, or three on our bed. During the day Belle has her siesta on our couch in the basement. We have a toy crate but every time we pick up the toys and put them away...Teddi is right behind us taking them out. Just like a kid I am telling you. None of my girls need their crates at home any more. When we get our next dog (hopefully next year) I want to buy a bit smaller crate to have inside. We "hope" our next dog will be "normal" size. We don't seem to find that range though.
Gorgeous room, can you come do my house?

Eh...my dogs run the house too but this has been a suprise blessing. My dogs aren't allowed on the new furniture so the room is used when I am not home or when I want some no dog under feet time . Jubilee and my foster both sleep in my room in the dog bed. I never leave fosters uncrated in the house alone though. It's a personal rule and I think a organization rule for all dogs two years and younger. If Jubilee would stay off the new leather couch she wouldn't have to stay in the room during the day while I am at work .

What? You mean mine aren't "normal" size? Lol.
Kind of working on a dog room here, as well... except it's more of a "dog equipment storage room." Heh.

No Kel "MY" dogs are not normal sized! I always seem to get supersized. You have to admit Max is big for a female golden, Belle is...well....HUGE and Teddi while she is thin and makes her look "normal" has LONG legs. She is not much smaller height wise than Belle. I want a typical field lab for my next dog. You know 22-24 inches, black (of course) 50-60 pound range. So the monster crate won't be needed.

That's what I love about Jubilee. She has a crate for flyball and it is small enough that it is completely managable by one person. The crate in the picture was given to me by lab rescue for my fosters and OMG it is a beast. Huge PITA.
