So we've picked up Reuban - he's a 1 1/2 year old black lab. I was hoping we'd be a foster failure cause I really like him a lot and he's getting along great with Chase and Ranger - plus my son really fell for him quick (even though he knew we were just babysitting!) but it looks like my husband may have found him a new home already. It's funny cause I go on this forum and a few other dog related forums and it is nothing for people to have multiple (ie more than 3) dogs and every one of my friends here, plus my family, thinks I am crazy to want a third dog. (But really, who could not love this face?!?) Perhaps it's because we look a bit silly on our 5:30 am walks - me and my now three 80+ pound dogs. So I've told my son to enjoy Reuban while he's here cause he is a really great dog!

He is pretty. I've been toying around with getting a third dog for a while. We have fostered almost 20 dogs in the last few years and while there are some you would love to keep (we do have 1 foster failure) it's really nice to see them go to a loving home and family that will really love them. Fostering is how I get my 3rd dog fix. If I really feel like I want one we go get another foster. After they are gone it is kinda nice to have the peace and quiet that comes with only 2 dogs.

Oh just wait.. First comes the third dog fix.. (ie Gumpy, foster failure #1) then comes the fourth dog you just can't help but to take in ( ie Jitter Bug, foster failure #2) ... I did tell my hubby that no matter what we are at our limit. Until we get a bigger place that is.

Well we have nine - as Chris counts.
I count 7 - 2 are really old and are mostly rugs :-)

So I am lobbying for another couple of jumping dog - Ultimate Air Elation

We live out on a golf course, have 1 acre fenced and a dog door for the dogs to run. We have taken out all the capeting, put down tile, buy dog food 100 lbs at a time, have a horse waterer, and our vet bought a new Porche.

Kinda have to change your life style a bit Cyclops

you don't need an electric blanket for the bed in winter rockin dog
