Kzoo
The whole day was filled with lots of dogs, and some really nice short dock jumping. There were LOTS of dogs at the park for all the events that were going on.
Some of the UADers moved over to the frizbie field to compete in that event - didn't hear how they did
AND Drum roll please
Sara and Carley won FIRST place!!!!!!!!
in the silly dog tricks event :milt:
Sky logged the longest jump of the day
and I am sure others can fill in other happenings as I am moving to the TV to watch my guy win the Kentucky Derby - Chris is betting on the fillies!!!

I gotta hand it to those of you who have dogs that can adjust to the short dock. Colby (and probably me more than him ) have a mental block to it!

I am so glad the weather held out. It was a little chilly for Gumpy as well.. Next time I will also think more about ways to keep him in the shade where he can't tear it apart. We still had a blast. And to get Cpt. Jack back diving again is an added bonus. Next step, to get Jitter Bug off the dock and not off the ramp!!! Sily boy has figured that out pretty fast.
And to see Sarah win 1st place in Silly dog trics with Carly and 3rd place with Sarah-Simone with Cpt. Jack... UAD dogs rock!!
We also came home to see this in the paper!!!

We can't wait to see everyone soon.. JRT racing and baton are taking up our time for the next few events.

He's fine, he's a happy go lucky boy, as soon as people start fawning all over him he forgets about his trauma and soaks up the attention
He was fast asleep less than a mile down the road. He's still a little more tired than usual today, which is a good thing, he's usually very high strung
I think I'll have to come up with a sturdier crate for the next event ...
