1 year old Chesapeake

There is a 1 - 2 year old male Chesapeake named Curly that is coming into rescue. Basically his owner works long hours training for SWAT and the dog has gotten loose twice. Animal Control is electing to not give the dog back because this is the 2nd offense and it had no tags either time it was picked up. He is going to be fostered for now, but if anyone is interested in him let me know.

Also there is an 8 year old female named Haley -- Need a foster space for her.Owner died; son lives in small apartment works 12 hr shifts, no time for a dog.

A correction to Curly's info. Apparently the owner never returned the second time to pick him up. It's early to tell, but he made need to go to a home without cats No way, Man!

I was kind of surprised that animal control didnt offer profesional courtesy to him. Shari I might have foster room for Haley. I will have to seriously consider it. How does she do crated/uncrated. Alowed tfree roam of house and yard? Also being 8 y/o I assume it might be a long foster. Give me a call i will send you a PM with my number.

I just picked Curly up today. He's a very sweet boy. He looks a lot like Sage, only has some "shadowing" of darker areas on his face. Pure bred, Very gentle. I'll be posting pictures of him later for those that may be interested. He's a very passive dog as well... doesn't want anything to do with a dog that growls or takes offense and he's been great playing fetch with Lucy..
