Sunday disc clinics
Sunday disc clinics
Here's their site if anyone's interested:

The clinics are $10, which is nothing for how much you will learn and how much fun you'll have. Disc is a GREAT way to keep your dog in shape and also to really gain a connection with your dog---it's one way I've kept Oskar in shape this winter, he'll be a pretty good toss and fetch dog---you don't have to do freestyle to play in disc!
Re: Sunday disc clinics
I may have to drive out to GR for a weekend here and there for some practice time.

And Kel is right, they are big proponents of positive training. Not only with the dogs, but with the people!! I don't work well with critical harsh trainers, it makes me so tense I mess up---with everything from horseback riding to music lessons I have always done MUCH better with positive trainers. Both Ron and Apryl are so laid back and they get you so relaxed you forget you're being watched.

I swear that when I read this, I read it as "I don't work well with others".

Especially with a younger dog, you want to be certain to not have them vaulting all over the place. So, just take it slow and save the big, flashy jumps for a little later when they're fully developed and have all their muscle tone.
Being so light and lean, Tundra should have a very nice build for the sport. I'm sure you'll both have lots of fun with it!
