Please be sure and preregister for this event so we can mail you a parking pass, wrist bands and maps so you do not have to pay to get in.

We have quite a few new UAD people that will be competing for the very first time at this event from our new Ohio UAD club. They have all been practicing and we have some really nice jumpers. Thanks to all the UAD people that plan to come to help and show these new people some real UAD hospitality. I know many in our club are really looking forward to seeing some of the big jumpers jump at this event and learn from them.

We are getting very excited about this event and have some really nice gift bags to give out to winners. Very nice ribbons too!!

Awesome flyer! Looking forward to that weekend.

I was wondering if you had a breakdown of the day's events ... what time things are running? I was thinking of entering in the costume contest and maybe a couple of the other events for dogs but want to make sure that I don't run into conflicts with dock diving.

The lure courses and other events are open for dogs to do. The other events are NOT competitions, just letting the dogs try it or have some fun doing it. The bathing suit contest is on our dock, so it will not interfere with a Splash!

I just emailed then for their schedule of the races and contests and will post here when I hear back.

Very Important! If you are planning on coming to Canine Fun Days to compete please register as soon as possible. I need to mail everyone their wrist bands to get in so they don't have to pay, a map of the event and a parking pass to unload. Please email me your name and information so I can mail you out everything you will need. Please tell me how many people and dogs are coming and their names in the email.

The Baymont Inn is the closet and they have lowered their rate to $69/night with no pet fee. Just mention UAD or Ohio Air Dogs when you make reservations. These are the best rates in the area.

We are having prizes and ribbons for both Jr, Handler and Veteran Divisions. I received the ribbons today. Beautiful Rosettes with 3 18 in streamers. Gift bags for Junior handlers will not be dog stuff but stuff for kids.

So please bring out your Veteran dogs and kids to handle the dogs. My grand daughters are going to throw for my dog and I can't wait.

In addition we will be having a raffle of a gift basket at the event to help Courtney cover the cost of Gauge's surgery.

MaraLee, her husband and Courtney will be the staff at Canine Fun Days.

My mistake,..there IS a featherweight division and I know of a few dogs who be flying off the dock. Beautiful ribbons and prizes for top 3 in ALL divisions.

I just received and email the parking passes and wristbands were mailed out today to me and I will mail them as soon as I get them :-)

Brian, we really pulled out all the stops for our first event. The gift bags are really nice too. We want our first event to be a great time and memorable for everyone! We have a lot of goodies and surprises for everyone too, but if I told you, it wouldn't be a surprise! I have really worked hard in getting things donated for winners and everyone who competes.

Since this is a club event we have some liberty to try some different things. One thing we are going to do is to a ribbon and gift bag presentation on the dock after each final for pictures.

Our club has grown quite a bit and this will be our members very first event.

There are still openings in Splashes. Everyone is welcome! It will be a really good time and an event full of fun and goodies for everyone. No one will leave empty handed.

This is a small sampling of what will be in the gift bags, and it isn't 1/5 of the goodies we have to put in gift bags. T-shirts, baseball caps, leads, collars, toys (boy do we have the dog toys), water bottles, Mother Hubbard treats, key chains, Frisbees, We have cases of Evangers 100% Salmon canned food and a whole lot more. And I have yet to pick up the goodies from 3 other pet stores :-)

And don't forget the basket we are raffling off to help Courtney pay for Gauge's surgery. It will include a coupon for free portrait, hand painted of your dog!

EVERYONE will receive a gift bag that competes.

I will be sending out an email next weekend to everyone registered for the event on how to pick up their parking passes and wristbands so they don't have to pay to get in. I will include a map and detailed instructions of where to unload. The parking pass will give you close access to the tenting area. Unfortunately, they are only providing wristbands for free admission to people who are pre-registered.

I registered for the canine fun days August 21. I have not recieved anything on it. Is this normal?, or did I do something wrong Oh so Sad. I'm looking forward to this event. Looks like alot of fun.

I registered but never received the parking pass or event wrist bands in the mail. Marie said they would be in the hotel lobby of the Baymont Hotel, Mayfield hts. I guess they will have a list of who and how many dogs will be there for the envent. If you didn't get the email with those details I would just email Marie real quick.
