New Disc Competition

This is from the disc email list I'm on, thought I'd share:

Hi All

We have had a last minute addition to our Frisbee Competition Schedule
this year!

So for all of us that are not planning on traveling to the Skyhoundz
Regional Event - we can play too!

We will be hosting
The Rochester Area Recreation Authority
Dog Days In The Park
1st Canine Frisbee Competition
on July 25th in Rochester Hills.

This event is dedicated to dogs and will have vendor booths, contests
and some other dog demonstrations.

The Frisbee competition will consist of Toss & Fetch with Freestyle Demos.

Trophies and Prizes will be awarded in 3 divisions:
Pro Toss & Fetch
Novice Toss & Fetch
Junior Toss & Fetch (for 14 yr and younger)

Registration will begin at noon, competition start time 1:00 pm
FREE TO ENTER ALL DIVISIONS
Entry to the Park is also free - just mention you are there for RARA's
Dog Days In The Park

The event will take place at Bloomer Park
located at 345 John R Rd., Rochester Hills, MI 48307
for more specific directions I recommend viewing the park website at

or mapquest driving directions

What you will need to bring.
Water for your dog, a crate or a short tie out for your dog to rest in
while waiting for their turn.
This location has a lot of mature trees locate near the playing field
for shade, however you may still want to bring a shade tent. There
will be several pools set out for the dogs to cool off in.
