UKC titles vs UAD titles
UKC titles vs UAD titles
All my dogs are registered with UKC so it just made sense to me to go for UKC titles. I was just wondering what a UAD title was? I see that they are only give annually ... what exactly does that mean?
Thanks, just being curious.
Re: UKC titles vs UAD titles
Titles are sent out at various times throughout the year to those who have let me know that they want them. If you want them please send a PM to me and include your address.

UAD titles start over each year.
UKC titles accumulate over however long your dog takes to get enough points to get the title, so if it takes you 2 years to get a UKC Champion Junior title (150 Points), you get that title, and it is good forever.
You then work to earn a higher UKC title in that division, or a higher division if your dogs starts to jump longer - however long it takes to earn enough UKC points for your dog to move to the next UKC title.
All of the UKC titles, and points needed for each UKC title, are listed on the UAD web site.
Go to:
"Information " - "Rules and policies".

My Renegade got his first UKC title last year but I wasn't aware of the UAD titles and that they needed to be requested. Would it be possible to get that title ... more for my own personal records then anything. If not, no big deal, just thought I'd ask anyway.
