I know we have some resident WP people here. So thought I would get opinion. Here is the harness I had made by one of our resident seamstress' :-) . This harness was measured and made for Tundra but it seems to fit Annie well. What do you all think?

By looks alone, it seems to fit fine... to really tell for sure, though, I'd have to actually *feel* how it fits. The most important parts of the fit, of course, being that the center point of the "Y" over her chest falls directly over her breastbone (when you test this, make sure you have someone hold the D ring at the back and pull the harness tight, so that you get an accurate fit, based on where the harness will fall while the dog is actually pulling), and that the "collar" section rests just above/along the ridge of her shoulders (which it appears to). The length and spreader bar placement seems appropriate for her.

Nice harness, splash is getting anew one to. I think it looks good. We are gonna start a new weight pull club at pats I will send ya info on it and hopefully we can have a few fun pulls and we are gonna look in to getting it UKC sanction.

Thanks for the replies guys. I guess maybe I should have a new harness made for Tundra then. This one was suppose to be for her but it fits Annie better! LOL.

we will be there sunday. I have the weightpull class on saturday and dont want to skip weeks they are doing fantastic.

Kel, I will as soon as we get more details. I think club fees will be like 100.00 for 6 mos and I will be out there 12 times for training and group work outs, will want to host at least 2 shows and work on a snow sled for the winter to continue the club for energy burning and and endurance through the winter. I am really excited about this. Pat is also thinking about getting it sanctioned.

I didn't want to chime in unless there was a pulling picture, but that looks fine to me. I don't know that much about wp harnesses (but once it's in motion, it's very similar to a regular harness), so seeing it motion helps a lot. Looks just right. Ultimate Air Elation
