Dock Looking For a Good Home
Dock Looking For a Good Home
It is 60' long and 3' wide... in 6-10' sections. Made of that wood with formaldehyde (sp?) in it... pressure treated? It's like that greeny looking wood. The last two sections are only a couple of years old. I don't know how old the other 4 sections are, but they aren't in that bad of shape. He said that you can also have some of the cement blocks. (He needs a few for something... I don't know what?)
It's all neatly staked on the shore at their cabin on Chippewa Lake, in Chippewa, Michigan. It's South-East of Big Rapids. Maybe 15 minutes out of town.
My Dad said that he would like $200 for it. My folk's phone numbers is (517)651-6471. You will probably have to leave a message. They get horrible reception up there. They will give you directions to pick it up and work out details.
Bill, Lynnie and I were up there yesterday to take out the old wooden dock and put in the new one. When we were all done, my Mom said, "Now, what do we do with the old dock?"
I told her "No problem... one of my "DOCK" diving friends will want a dock!
Thanks,
MaraLee

I'm on the phone with her right now. They aren't very good at using the new-fangled fancy voice mail machines.

Was already thinking about how we could make it wider... at least down where we would stand. Rajah only uses about 30-32' of the dock anyway!
