Peach Fest set up?

Just wondering if anyone can offer any information on what the setup will be like for the Peach Fest event? Crating, parking, any electric hookups available for fans, etc?

The Peachfest event in Coloma, MI is tentatively supposed to be indoors.

Yeah, that's what I thought I remembered hearing. I think it's inside a Marine/water sport supply store?

I did not realize it either!!. Outside is better in august!!

Is it short dock or long dock? I would like to know before I get there and find out it's short dock.

It will be a LONG dock!
Sue/Mike said we will be able to pull up to the building, unload, and then park a block away, (may be a small ($3) fee).
Indoors in August isn't bad...we did one last year in Wisc and it was great when it was storming outside!!

Well dang it all.....indoors POOH! LOL. Might have to rethink this now...Bummer.

To anyone who knows. Where exactly is the place where the pool/longdock will be? What the name of the place? If it's a sports store oe something it might be kinda cool!!

I heard that it was a big boat storage place with garage type doors that will be open and that Sue was working on getting industrial fans for air circulation. Room for crating inside so we won't need tents! And it won't be a problem if it's raining outside.

Here's an airal photo of Guys Marine & WaterSports in Coloma. I assume one of these buildings is where the pool will be, anyone know which one?

Hello Everyone! Mike and I are getting very excited about the Peach Festival and wanted to offer a little information about set up. if you look at Roger's aerial photo the competition will be in the big white -roofed building. It is a boat storage in the winter & the front of the building has a sign on it that says Storage. We will have the big doors open on each end and fans for circulation. This should provide some shade from the sun and we can keep jumping even if it rains. We hope to have signs as you come off the highway directing you to the event location. It's only about a mile north off of exit 39 on I-94. You will be able to pull up to unload and then go park your vehicle. The guy next door offers parking and I think it was either $3.00 or $5.00. There's also a church parking lot about a block away where you can park for free. Mike is making his awesome Pulled Pork for Competitors so if you'd like to bring a dish of some sort to share that would be great. if you have any other questions at all, please feel free to E-mail me swillming@sbcglobal.net
