Don't miss this event. We are going to have a splash where some of the Country's greatest Stars will jump some of our dogs. This will be a great time with great picture opportunities. More to come later.

not sure yet! Probably blacktop! If it is we will have something on ground so dogs don't hurt their paws.

Any idea on hotels to stay at? Going to try a few but want to know if any recommendations for good ones? I am sure hotels will be booked out. Also- do competitors get into CMA festival or do we have to pay to get in?

We're staying at LaQuinta South Nashville, 4311 Sidco Drive - About 7 miles from downtown. Most if not all pet friendly and inexpensive hotels close in are already booked. Be carefull staying in North Nashville - kind of a dangerous area, but there are a lot of cheap hotels there but not a good place to stay.

Yep- tried LaQuinta- all are booked except 1 that is about 17 miles away from the event. Did get into the Drury as there were 2 rooms left when i called . A bit expensive but I figure most hotels have raised their rates that weekend. I would rather stay at a nicer hotel and pay more than a crappy one and still pay more.

There is room at the Wyndham hotel chain and most of them accept dogs. (I.E. Super 8, Wingate, Ramada etc.)

This one was on the schedule, Jack and I are hoping to make it. What's parking going to be like? In 2008 (with a different organization) parking was expensive- $10-15 per day.
