HI to everyone at UAD,
I am writing this the best i know how.
Please everyone in the Uad Family send your thoughts and prayers to Joe, Kim and their family for Zues. I talked with Kim, and Zues got hurt yesterday by a train. I am not sure of all the information on how it happened, but Zues is going to loose one of his front legs. ZEUS Icon_cry I can say that Kim did tell me that Zues is stabel and doing ok. that is all I really know at this point. I guess if you look on face book it will tell you more.

To Joe, Kim and family our thoughts and prayers are with you for a great recovery for zues. He is a tuff boy and I am sure he will have all the love and comfort for his recovery. I bet in time he will be the best three legged dog that ever jumps for UAD ZEUS Icon_smile . Please keep us posted, and if you need anything give us a call.

I heard about the accident yesterday too - - - Sending all my love and well wishes to Joe, Kim, and Zeus. I can't imagine what they all went through yesterday. I hope Zeus heals well and we see him on the dock in the future Sweet!

I heard this news first thing yesterday morning -definatly a shock! So happy that "dumb-dumb" will be ok though!!!

My thoughts and Wooks' tailwags are with all of them right now!!!

I told Brian last night that Scout has had his work cut out for him watching over all of his UAD friends since he left us but has been doing a great job making sure all of his buddies are surviving their tough times.

We went to visit Zeus,he his doing great he was so excited to see us. Dr Kirby at Wilsons in Romeo came in to talk to us, said surgery went good he removed his shoulder and the rest of his leg. He said that if Zeus has a good night he can come home tomorrow ya Sweet! Sweet! Joe asked Brandi and Dustin if they were ready to go and Zeus jumped up with his tail wagging,Joe told him he had to stay one more night. Zeus went over and laid in front of the door ..... if I cant go neither can you. Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers!!!!

Took Zeus for a recheck today, Dr said he is doing well. Have to get staples out in 7 to 10 days. He is still getting around pretty good,he is having a problem lifting his leg to pee but im sure in time he will get the hang of it again.

I can assure you that he will get the hang of it... Our dog Scout still has his front leg, but it has severe nerve damamge, and is essentially useless... and let me tell you he can still lift his... his aim is just a bit off!! So glad that Zeus is going to be okay!!

I'm glad to hear that Zeus is going to be OK. Dogs are very adaptable, he will compensate for the missing leg surprisingly well.

Took Zeus to the vet on Thursday because he had some fluid in the area where they amputated his leg,the doctor drained it and said he can resume his normal activities.Cant wait to take him to Ultimate Air Games !!!
