big thanks

Just wanted to say that smokeys return to the dock was an unexpected joy this past weekend in Owosso. Truth is I was planning on going trout fishing on last Thursday but something told me I needed to take him back to the dock. You see, last April I lost my dad to cancer. His death was somewhat unexpected and very difficult for me. He was my best friend and the reason Ive become such a dog nut over the years. This was the first chance that we have had to get out and enjoy a little normal life. (if you can call a dock jumping weekend normal life big thanks Icon_lol

) It was very therapeutic for me. Dogs truly are our best friends. Even though Smokey had nothing left for the finals Iam very proud of him and we are looking forward to when we can make it next time. He is still pretty laid back today. Laying at my feet as I write this instead of begging to go outside.

I am gald that a fun weekend playing with your four legged kid can be some help. Theres nothing better when your best buddy loves being with you no matter what you are doing Sweet!

It was good to see you and Smokey again. Hope you can make it to some more events this summer.

Hi Dan,

I'm so sorry about the loss of your father. I never had the pleasure of meeting him. But as a parent, I'd bet he would want you and Smokey back up on the dock.

It was a joy to meet you and Smokey this weekend. Aren't you glad you didn't go fishing? I heard they weren't biting anyway. big thanks Icon_lol

I'm glad that you and Smokey had a good weekend. Things are never the same.

If my dad were still alive he would have loved to come and sit in a lounge chair watching the dock diving and disc competitions.
And he would be taking full advantage of the festival food and flirting with our sexretaries.

I hope that your heart continues to heal.
