I know a few people are staying at the Red Roof on Ontario downtown. It's less than 2 miles from the venue.

Willowbrook is a great area but it will still be a good 45 mins to an hour to the venue if there is no traffic at all.

I'm so excited for this event!!

Red Roof Inn



Rates: $76.99 flat rate for Standard King and Standard Double Room plus 15.4% tax, per room, per night. Red Roof Inn is pet friendly.



Cutoff Date: October 27, 2009



Method of Reservations:

Individuals may the hotel directly at 312-787-3580 or 1-800-RED-ROOFto make reservations. A Credit Card is required to guarantee all reservations at the time of booking.



Billing:

Individuals will be responsible for their own room, tax, and incidentals. Any cancellations after the said CUT-OFF DATE of October 27, 2009, the hotel will retain the first night's room and tax. This amount will be charged to the individual Credit Card.



Parking:

Valet parking is offered at the hotel at $36.00 per day with in/out access. Tour bus parking available; please call 312-808-3138 for rates and availability.

What's the scoop on parking at the event? How close will we be to the pool? I know there is a parking garage right down there on Navy Pier.

My concern with the one for downtown is if there is good space for potty breaks for the dogs. Along with will they charge for parking? Is there any way any locals could get us info on this? I would rather stay there if I know I have good place for potty in the AM and PM for the dogs.

As for potty places there will most likely be patches of grass here and there downtown but there would most likely not be an open area for the dogs.
I will give the downtown hotel a call in the next week or so and find out about parking and let you know.

I just called the hotel and asked about parking. They have valet parking only and it is $36 for 24 hours with unlimited in and out privilidges.

I called there and they said it is valet parking only. And an extra $36! I would rather drive an extra hour for this one. :-) Thanks for being willing to call though.
