Info for Bristol, TN

Hey guys!
Excited that Milt and Lynn made the extra effort to make Bristol an UKC event! Thanks again guys!
I have several questions...
1) are cars/trucks going to be racing while we are jumping? In other words...is it gonna be LOUD?!?!
2) do we need shade for dogs and humans? Do we need to pack our tent?
3) parking...how close to the pool/dock can we get?
4) Any other important info that I should have?

We went to this last year. There will not be any racing going on. This event is family night where they shut down the streets and have a nascar type street fair. Every once in a while at the begining and end they would fire up a vehicle to move it but thats it. You do need to pack a tent for shad .Last year it was on state street and Milts set up was in a gravel/grass parking lot in between buildings and we were aloud to park there behind the pool.Wheather or not that will be the same this year im not sure. Milt will probably chime in on later.Hope thats helps alittle.
And last but not least. GO KASEY KANE

Setup will be same as last year. There is room for parking on lot but you won't be able to get out of lot until 9pm. Tents can be used. I will set up 2 for anyone needing space. I will setup the morning of the event and teardown is right after event. This is a fun time especially if you like NASCAR. If anyone wants to go to truck races Wednesday night I will try to get a few passes.

Thanks for the info.
So I will be able to park close enough to the dock that I will not need to shlep all of my crates to the staging area? I will be bringing my dog trailer and if I can just "work" out of my car/trailer...that would be FAB.
Milt how early can we get there? My friend with the Border Collie might need a little extra practice time so the eariler we can get there, the better.
If we parked in another lot, could we leave earlier?
I am sure I'll think of something else as the time gets closer.

Ginger was wondering if you were gonna bring the fetch it rig or the uv rig with you to bristol? I told her that there probably wouldnt be enough time or people to do those events but I would ask.
