This event is booked up but we will have practice times available for $10. We might even have space for a couple of dogs in competition.

Me too! How do you get involved in the practice jumps or better yet, how do you get in the "possible" spaces if/when they become available? I really am interested...we would love to get our feet wet! Since Casey doesn't have any titles, getting in on the Canton event may get her that opportunity to earn one and possibly get in the Imlay city event. Carole

Carole,
When you check in with the secretary just let them know that you are new to this and they will make sure to point out someone who can help you. The UAD family is great at helping "newbies" and giving pointers and such so don't be shy with letting us all know that you are new and need help!!

Thanks. It nice to know that there is help out there. One more dumb question. I see there is a charge for getting into the Paws event...do we have to pay that or do we identify ourselves as being in UAD?

No such thing as a dumb question!! Trust me - we have all been new once and have asked all the same questions and been in the same situation Sweet!

Milt made a post that he has 20 tickets and the first 20 teams that show up on Saturday will have first dibs on them other than that I believe you will have to pay the $5 entry fee.

GREAT QUESTION. Proctor Road does not exist! Not sure why Map Quest tells people that. I 275 exit Ford Road. Ford Road West, to Canton Center Road (left) to Heritage Park Road (right).

We are on grass.

Mapquest calls Heritage Road, Proctor Road. You wont be able to miss it, we'll have big road signs Sweet!

The Purina Incredible Dog Team performance at this event will be by Tony Hoard of New Castle Indiana.Tony is a really good guy and recently advanced to the semi-finals of America's Got Talent with his dog Rory.They are also two time Skyhoundz freestyle world champions.

Carole - get ready for your newest addiction!!!! You will have a great time and be hooked - trust me! I started about 4 years ago with an event maybe once a year and have been to 17 this year already and most of them are between 4-5 hours away from me Sweet!

Milt, Is there any way of knowing if those couple of competition spaces are open? Either way, I plan on attendeding the event. As a matter of fact, I can't hardly stand the wait. I guess I just want to know so I can be better prepared. Carole

Usually once people who have pre-registered check in is when it is known if there are any open spaces. Registration begins an hour before the first splash so I would suggest getting there at east an hour before the first splash. Check in with the secretary and ask them if there is any room and they should be able to let you know!

One more question....I hope someone is out there to answer.

So, if I manage to get registered in a splash tomorrow, what is the cost? Is it 15.00 per dog per splash?
Then what about the finals? Is there a cost, if your in it, for that too?

Carole-it is $ 15 per splash. If you make it into the finals on Sunday, you don't have to pay for the finals.
