This morning I had to say goodbye to my best friend of over fifteen years.Dude never got a chance to do organized disc or UAD,but surely would have exceled at both(At twelve years old and half blind he still made a ten foot leap into a pool two feet above him).I feel very lucky that I had a dog who was healthy and happy for such a long life,but right now with Sheri and all the other dogs gone to an agility event in MA I feel very lonely.

Chip. My heart goes out to you because I know what you are going through. It has not been a year yet since I had to put my beloved dog Kitty to rest, and I still cannot stop grieving for her. I miss her daddy and her so very much. They say time heals but it is very hard. You are very lucky that you are a lot younger than me and have another dog. I will be thinking of you and your family at this time.

Chip, I am so sorry to hear about Dude. He was an awesome dog and was lucky to have you as his "dad." I remember a long while back at a disc event in MI where I first met him... he was such a total sweetheart then and always was through his whole life. He will definitely be missed.
