Yes, I am spoiled by my Mom. However, I was raised with values and was taught to work hard. I don't take anything that she does for me for granted (even though I may not always tell her how much I appreciate her). I don't expect anything and I think that makes a huge difference. I didn't always get everything I wanted and I would say that I am more spoiled as an adult. I used to tell my parents that I was their slave child because I had to mow the lawn, rake leaves, stack wood, do dishes, clean the house, get dinner started in the summer when my Mom worked. Those were good things because they taught me to work hard. My parents were very strict too (I had the earliest curfew of all my friends, lol) So, all in all, I think that we can be a little spoiled as long as we respect others, are generous, kind to others and never expect things. AND, maybe I'm not spoiled, maybe my Mom is just a giving person
Jim, I have had the pleasure of meeting your daughter. She definitely doesn't act spoiled and she is a very nice girl. Smart too!!!
