Tim asked me to post the following information for those of you that may be looking for a campground to stay at near Imlay City for the Woods-N-Water Festival.

I believe we stayed at that KOA last year and that was a great campground. Very friendly and they didn't care that we had 4 dogs with us.

last year we stayed right at the fair grounds thats the plan for this year as well ill try to find mor info for those who might be intrested in staying there

I called the fairgrounds, and they told me they were booked full for the campsites. They had a waiting list of approximately 50 names on it. That's why I posted the other campground information for you.

Hi everyone,
Another campground to check out is Metamora Hadley State park. It looks fairly close and I think it's cheaper than the KOA. I think this is where Denny and I will probably camp. I haven't done a map quest but I believe by looking at a map it might be closer than Lakeport. We had a very close friend of ours pass away on Thursday so it's been a very crazy time around here. I'm hoping to get some time tomorrow or Monday to get more info on camping. We are lucky because we can also commute but camping of course would be much closer. Have a good day,

Hi Everyone,
For anyone who is interested the KOA is by far closer to the fairgrounds than the other camps. Map quest says it is 17 mins away. For a tent campsite it says it is 36.00 a night. Metamora Hadley state park is 27 mins away and is 23.00 a night and Lakeport is 46 mins away and also 23.00 a night. I think if we stay in a campsite it will probably be Metamora Hadley. I'll have to talk to Denny and see if he wants to camp or drive from the house which is an hour away! Have a great day everyone,
