Ultimate Air Dogs will have a short dock Champion named this year. I will be tabulating all jumps on short dock and name the divisional winners at the Ultimate Air games held in Imlay City later this year. Trophies will be given out to all divisional champs except novice. We will not have a second pool setup at this years UAG games. Medals from last years games will be handed out at this years games.

Milt, if it is okay, I would like to donate/provide a Novice short dock divisional trophy in memory of my Novice jumper, Ice.

If the extra tabulated scores will be any trouble though, I would still like to donate the trophy and award it to the Novice Finals Champion for UAG on Sunday.

Ok... I'm really tired and clearly confused. Majorly Confused So, there will be a short dock at the UA Games and that is how the winner will be tabulated? Sweet! Or you will take the scores from this year's short dock events and rank them from there? Sweet! Either way, that is a great thing to do Milt. Hot Dawg I have a lot of respect for those teams that can transition to the short dock. Just kidding! It isn't always as easy as it looks! Oops!

What a great idea!!!!!!!!!!!! The novice dogs would love you for that!! They like to play tooo!!!! Brie needs to go back to the short dock and work hard! You truely have the best interest of the sport in mind. We will always remember ICE!!!

My interpretation, which may very well be wrong, was that Milt was going to take the scores from the course of the year for the short dock and determine a short dock champion and give awards. I would still think that UAG would be on the long dock since most of the big dogs and big jumpers who need speed don't necessarily fair well on the short dock. I would be surprised if UAD had a short dock for UAG, that wouldn't seem to make sense. So, that's my interpretation, however, as I said, it may be incorrect and I certainly can't speak for Milt and his intentions. Ultimate Air Elation

Yes, Milt's original announcement regarding UAG (at the Mutt Strut event) was that there would be two docks, the full size setup along with the short. He said that there would be a short dock and long dock championship, each run separately, along with the short dock being employed for UV. That changed, however, about a month ago when he made an announcement in another thread (and again here). Soooo... as Shari says, it appears that there will be an average of jumps made in order to determine the short dock divisional champions. Or something along those lines, at least... Milt will of course have to verify/clarify that information. Sweet!

As for which event/thread Milt actually meant the Novice dogs announcement to be for, I'm not sure.
