"I hear that I have a lot of potential whatever that means"
What are the chances she has already found her forever home with you and Jubilee? I bet that happens alot to foster homes.

This is my first foster which I heard is the hardest to give away. If I were to keep her I wouldn't be able to foster anymore as I have a townhome and don't have the room or a yard. It is enough fun and adventure walking two dogs, one being a large puppy. I have several people interested in her. Personally given the choice I would like another black female that would be a performance dog. Keeley doesn't have that IT factor although at one year old the only thing Jubilee could probably do competitively is trip over herself . It has been a rollercoaster of emotions but I just promised myself that she doesn't leave until I find the right home!

When Keeley's profile went up, I immediately got SIX emails on her. All interested parties were not quite right. Two were promising but the first one hadn't really done an application and hadn't had a home approval yet. I was waiting on that one when an application and approval came in from a couple that met her back at the pet expo the first weekend I had her. Their email to the volunteer was endearing and I just "knew" this was to be her family. I can't explain it. It was really confusing and chaotic prior to that but then everything was clear. They had already met her and they want to train her in obedience and possibly make her a therapy dog like their other dog they own. Today, I was going to flyball practice which happens to be held at the dog park where they live. We discussed meeting there and then bringing Keeley to their home. I packed up all her stuff this morning "just in case" it was the real deal for her. They brought their two dogs and everything went beautifully. Their pet therapy trainers were there and I met them too. We went to their house and Keeley met their cats without incident. Their animals are their family as they don't have children. I took a deep breath and asked them what they thought and they loved her. They wanted her today so I said ok. We did all of the necessary paperwork and I cried. I am so dumb...I cried right there in their home. Not the ugly cry...just a few tears. I feel good about them...I really do. It is just that in two short weeks Keeley left deep little paw prints on my heart and it is very quiet here without her.
