After mulling it over I have made a decision about the date for this event. The original date was easier for me due to my work schedule. However, it seems that the turnout will be better if it is the last weekend of June (replacing Petapalooza). Since this event is for charity, I feel we will raise more money if more people are able to attend.

There will be more information about the event within the next few days so please check back for more information and splash schedule. The rules will be posted and I need to put the registration process in place. Due to my getting home the night before the event I will be asking a few of you for help in assuring that everything is together and in place. I will not be posting directions to my house on the board so pre-registration for the event will be necessary. Hopefully we will have vertical as well.

I would like to do a raffle so any donations for the raffle would be greatly appreciated. The raffle money will also go toward charity. I will be attempting to get some sponsors for the event. If you work directly with a rescue organization and would like to submit your name and rescue, you will be put in the drawing to have a portion of the event proceeds donated to your rescue. Obviously Chesapeake Bay Retriever Relief and Rescue is on the list =)

I have my fingers crossed for the event, we may only to make sunday! or show up later on saturday we will see. I will try to get things for the raffles and will of course add the pitbull rescue again.
