May 24 & 25, 2008
Anyone with a dog that can catch a disc is encouraged to come and participate or just come and watch the Hi-Flying action and many other fun dog activities and demos at Dog Bowl 2008.
· Location – Frankenmuth River Place
925 South Main St. Frankenmuth, MI
· Date – May 24 & 25, 2008 (Rain or Shine)
· Time – Registration 10:00am to 11:00am, Competition begins at 11:15am
* Rally Obediance and Freestyle Demos (both days)
* Competition Divisions (Saturday)
1. Novice – Toss & Fetch - $5.00 Entry Fee
2. Pro – Toss & Fetch - $5.00 Entry Fee
3. Freestyle - $10.00 Entry Fee
* Competition Divisions (Sunday)
1. Skyhoundz – Distance & Accuracy / Freestyle - Free
2. Jr. Handler Toss & Fetch (14yr. and under) – Free
3. Extreme Distance Mens & Womans - $5.00 Entry Fee
· Awards and Prizes in all divisions. Cash prizes in Pro Toss & Fetch, Freestyle and Extreme Distance.

Forgot to include... Saturday's competitive events are independent, using SkyHoundz rules. Sunday's are SkyHoundz events.

I think we are heading up for the flying dog part.
My wife wants to visit the world largest Christmas store. Any idea how far it is from the event.

Bronners is only about a 10 minute walk or a 2 minute car ride from where the event will be held. The River Walk is just on the other side of the river from Bavarian Inn and Zendhers restaurants. I worked at Zendhers as a dish washer in high school. Trust me, you will be totally done with xmas after about 10 minutes in that store... It is a good place to go people watching though. Kristy's mom works at Bronners and I don't know how it doesn't driver her crazy. The stores at River Walk are nice though. Downtown is nice to walk thru as well. It's too bad the Brewery closed though. What is a German town with no local brewery?

It is a great venue. I was there last year for a big air competition. This sounds like fun! I have been wanting to try Mocha in toss & fetch. Sounds like the perfect opportunity!

I think we may also go.. Sarah has been working with Cpt. Jack with the disk and he is finally getting it.
