The weather is turning cold and winter is starting to set in…burr.
Are you looking for some warm fast action packed fun? Here is your solution.

We are please to announce our first MI Disc Dog Event of 2010 and the
beauty and warmth of it is that it is indoors at Competitive Dog
Sports new training facility.

Date - January 9, 2010

10am Registration
11am Competition

Competitive Dog Sports
Located inside Pet Supplies Plus
11525 S. Saginaw, Grand Blanc, MI 48439

Divisions and Fees –
Pro Toss & Fetch - $10.00
Novice Toss & Fetch - $10.00
Jr. Handler Toss & Fetch - Free (Youth 14 yrs. old and under)

We will have awards and prizes for the top teams in each division.
Freestyle demos and fun for all.

If you would like to preregister for this event please email the
following information by 1/4/09.

Dog’s name, age, breed

My dog Kady can catch a frisbee pretty good but don't know any tricks besides. I would like to get into frisbee too but don't know much about the competition rules and such we are from saginaw and would like to go if I am home from work. Do I need to preregister or can I just show up and have fun.

I think I will start retraining my girl Jetta. She is awesome with a frisbee. I just can't seem to take it back from her when she has it.

So,who else is going to this?I will be there with Crash, Seeker and Wyatt.It would be very cool to see more UAD people involved in disc.Scott and Deanna always host great events.There is a novice division for newer people/dogs and great prizes as well.

Since Gus is not that excited about jumping off the dock, events like this would be great to try! Looking forward to hearing about more events

HOWEVER, we are not giving up on Ultimate Air Dogs!!

Chip I'd like to go.....but my last road trip back from Ohio made me not want to drive the rest of the winter. A normally 6 hour drive max took me over 9 hours. Plus Scott's parents are coming this weekend so I really can't. Have fun though!!

We had a great time at the disc event today. I was very nervous about taking Rosco, but he has to get
out in public sometime. He has a short attention span and I was worried that he would run off the field to
visit the dogs on the sideline. And to make it worse, he doesn't recognize it when dogs want to eat him alive.

My heart was jumping out of my chest because it was my first disc competition but mostly because I was
worried about Rosco leaving the field. Rosco stayed focused on the frisbee and did great! Miss Dusty did well too
but bobbled a couple of discs that she should have caught. My throwing was the biggest problem

We didn't win, but we had a great time. Our Novice scores were Dusty 9.5 and Rosco 12.5

Chip was there and it was nice to know at least one person.
