We're looking for an XL wire crate for a now-XL "puppy". Montana is almost as big as Dakota, and the med. crate we have for him is now too small. Wanted- XL wire crate Icon_porc If anyone knows of one for sale, or a good deal on a new one, please let us know.

Ron, if you cant find one here go on craigslist. You can find some stuff really cheap or even free. I have seen wire cages on there a few times. You have to be quick though.

We got Leo's big crate off CL for $50. I do have an "extra" 42" crate here. If you take it I won't have to move it to the basement...

You will have to negotiate with Kristy about how to get it but I know it's sitting in the dog's room waiting for me to haul it to the basement - I keep hoping Leo will move it for me since he likes to move things in the house...

If I didn't think the noise would cause Leo to have a panic attack, I would have him drag it to your house Ron. A walk with a bit of weight pull. Maybe that would tire him out enough so he wouldn't get into trouble.

When Rocky was a puppy we were afraid he was going to think his name was "Rocky NO!" because that's all we said to him for weeks. Leo is getting close to having his name changed to something similar.

Montana's nickname has changed from "Sock Monster" to "Counter Monster" to reflect his change in stature, although socks are still in fear of their life.
