Lupine collars
Lupine collars
She has chewed off 2 collars so far, so we bought a Lupine collar as they are "Guarenteed".
WELL
1 week after we put it on her Rogan had chewed the clasp and freed Molly again. :bigcry:
Any ideas on what kind of collar might stand up to her chewing

The collars that sponsor Team Triple Threat are VERY sturdy!
Re: Lupine collars
Some dogs hate full strength lemon, most hate full strength vinegar. I never knew a dog to like a paste of alum (the white powder stuff used for pickling found in the grocery spice area). Perhaps it would be easier to soak the collar in pickle juice for a minute. Just be careful not to irritate the skin of the dog wearing the collar.
Of course there are also the commercial preparations. $$

Re: Lupine collars
do plastic buckles, however, so metal buckle collars fixed this for
us. (The kinds like a belt, not the metal ones that are built the
same as the plastic ones that work like a seat belt thingy.)
She's a master, though. I once actually witnessed her do it to a
friend's dalmatian. Took all of one quick move and less than a
second. She then chews up the collar for fun.

Re: Lupine collars
She also destroyed Molly's invisible fence receiver - had that replaced about a month ago. She doesn't chew the collar -she eats the plastic snap, so a collar with a metal clasp might be the answer.
Thanks for all the suggestions.

Although I'm not sure you'd want to spend the money if there's even going to be an attempt made at eating it lol. Our boys wear their's everywhere and they are standing up great!
Those are some nice lookin' collars on some nice lookin' dogs!!!
