Ohio Championships at The Andersons

We are going to have the Ohio Championships that will be contested at 2 Anderson's locations July 18-19 in Maumee (Toledo) and Oct. 3-4 in Columbus. More info on these 2 events later.

Sounds like fun! We loved that jump last year at Anderson's!

Is this the place where the jumps are into a pond?

How do you qualify to compete at the Ohio championships?
How do you qualify to compete at the championships in Imaly City?

These are pool jumps just like normal.

With Imlay City you can compete as long as you have an Ultimate Air Dog Title. For example Rajah has his Master title right now. If we stopped jumping for the rest of the year we would be able to compete in Imlay City with Rajah in the Master group. So if your dog has a novice title you can jump in the novice group in Imlay City, A junior title in the junior group and seniors in senoir etc.

As far as if there is qualifying for Ohio championships..... that is something Milt would have to answer. I don't know! :-)

I numbered your questions.

1. I believe at Andersons we use the UAD pool and Dock just like most of the other events.

(#2. was removed to save confusion. )

3. Woods and Waters (Imlay City) is only for dogs that have completed a UAD title in that year. In other words you have five scored jumps in the same division. I.E. Sky (my dog) has 18 ultimate jumps including Wisconsin last weekend. She only needed 5 to earn a Ultimate Air dogs title. When you achieve ten jumps in the same division you earn a Ultimate II (you can insert any division where I placed Ultimate). So if Sky has 18 Ultimate Jumps she has an Ultimate 3(III). You only need to achieve the titles of either novice, junior, senior, master, and/or ultimate to compete in Ultimate Air Games in Imlay city. But, you must have at least completed five jumps in the same division to be allowed to jump at Ultimate Air Games during the finals.

Currently I believe according to the titles sheet you have achieved 3 Novice jumps. That means you need to jump novice 2 more times between now and Imlay City to be eligible for Ultimate Air Games. (The title sheet is not up to date so I used the one that was there.)

The July 18/19 event in Maumee Ohio... Is this just for Ohio Dogs?

Registration opens Tuesday for Kalamazoo and I want to register for that if we can't compete in the Ohio event.

Ok here's the scoop. This event is open for everyone. Anyone can win this 2 event total point championship. We will assign dogs points in relationship to where you finish in the Finals. We will take scores from both Anderson's event and determine who wins the overall Ohio Championships. Since Michigan can't beat Ohio in football maybe we can in dock jumping!!
