Cincinnati great fun!!

Ron, Debbie and Dakota had a great time. Alot of new faces and first timers. I saw the dates for next year

April 9-11, 2010. Thanks to everyone who participated. Very nice to see Jacob & Devon and of course Matt.

This was such a fun event!! Crazy busy with almost all splashes having 40 dogs. Lots of newbies which is always great!!! Wrigley won the event for the 2nd year in a row with a jump of 23.5 (but had a huge jump earlier in the weekend of 24.1). Meadow did awesome and didn't pull her "I don't feel like jumping big in finals"!!!! Yahoo!!

It was also great to see "Mom" - although she has too nice of a tan!!!

PS - Ron & Debbie - I found Dakota's book with all of her certificates and UKC papers and gave it to Shari since you guys had already left!!

We had a great time again. Can't wait until next year!! It was nice to have a babysitter for our 2 year old. Heisman jumped for the first time since last August. We were happy he got wet and made the Novice finals. He may just be too laid back for this sport .

Wrigley was ready to jump. I am very happy that he started doing UV. I am still shocked he made it to 6'2". Too bad we started at 4'8", but he needed the reps to learn.

I forgot the exact numbers but can anyone beat a TOTAL of 60'+ for Catch-It. Just don't ask what happened.

It was great to see everyone again. With our second baby due in May we will not be hitting too many events this summer that require travel. Maybe we will be able to do some fall events.

Umm, ok. Are you saying someone got a CI score of 60'+? Or is this a set goal sort of deal?

Current CI records (as of Novi Outdoorama 2009) are:

Short dock indoor: GSP Seven: 22'0" + 20'9" = 42'9"
Short dock outdoor: BLR Missy & APBT Rajah (tie): 31'1" (Missy: 15'6" + 15'7") (Rajah: 15'8" + 15'5")
Long dock indoor: GSP Seven: 23'2" + 22'7" = 45'9"
Long dock outdoor: GSP Seven: 24'2" + 25'8" = 49'10"
Long dock pond: LR/Dobe Colby: 21'0" + 22'6" = 43'6"

Wrigley and Jazzie were tied after two jumps so there was a jump off (1 jump). Wrigley made the catch but Jazzie barely missed. Dang, the secret is out.Thought I could claim the record

Yes Cinci was a fun weekend. Debbie I cannot believe you posted at 10.48 pm on Sunday. You and Ron must have gotten more sleep than Shari and I on Sat. night. I fell asleep for a little bit coming home but tried to stay awake for Shari as we were very tired and with those terrible roads it took us longer. We were acting like a couple of nuts with her ipod music going. It was so good to see my friends again and get those hugs that I missed, but I also missed Milt's because he was busy elsewhere. CONGRATS to all the winners. I also have another new adopted daughter. Her name is Stephanie. You are one sweet young lady. My pleasure. Mom Gloria

Dusty and I had a great weekend too! I can't believe we have to wait an entire month
before the next UAD event.

Miss Dusty wasn't much help in keeping me awake on the 5.5 hour drive home. She slept the
entire trip and snored the last 1.5 hours!

Dusty must have been tired from getting her first place in Novice Yahoo for Dusty!!! She is really starting to get the game and is having such a great time doing it!

I had a blast too--this is one of my favorite indoor events! Steph you did a FANTASTIC job secretarying this weekend!!! It was pretty hectic with so many dogs but you kept a smile on your face the whole time and kept everything moving right along.
And yes, you have gained a whole new family it appears! I guess since we have the same 'daddy' that makes us sisters--LOL!

Yeah Steph! And to think some creepy crusty guy that lives on facebook 24/7 thinks there's another indoor Pet Expo in Ohio better than this one

Well I have to say being In cincy this past weekend was GREAT! we had lots of crating space lots of dock time great judging and a fun relaxing weekend. Got to catch up with old friends and make a few new ones. I hope to be seeing more of you soon. Lance was sure happy! and slept all the way home 5 hours not a peep out of him. the only problem was i came home to 4 inches of snow but its warm again thank goodness. see you all soon and congrats to everyones dog who jumped or got wet this weekend.

Ah, ok. Well, either way, good job in CI!

Actually, there was a jump off between Rajah and Missy for the short dock outdoor record (or the win at the particular event, anyway), as well. Missy won with a third jump of 16'8", vs Rajah's 16'1".
